WILLIAM M. REFFETT
Senior Advisor - Corporate Acquisitions and Development

Before joining Carpediem as an advisor, Mr. Reffett was President and a Partner in Reffett and Associates, Ltd, an executive search consulting firm. Previously he was a Vice President and Partner with a New York based firm specializing in executive search.

Before becoming a search consultant, Mr. Reffett was a Senior Vice President of Grand Union, a major East Coast grocery store chain. He supervised executive development, training, recruiting, hiring, and labor relations with the company's 36 separate labor organizations. He was also a member of several company planning committees and served on the Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Grand Union, Mr. Reffett spent five years as Vice President, Personnel and Operations, and Senior Vice President, Human Resources, for Frederick and Nelson; a Seattle based division of BATUS. He began his career in business at Lazarus department store in Columbus, Ohio.

Mr. Reffett received his BS degree in engineering from West Point, and a law degree from Capital University. Following graduation from West Point, he served five years in the Army, including an assignment as a Company Commander in Vietnam. He currently maintains a commission in the US Army reserves and is a member of the Ohio bar.
