WAYNE J. NIXON
Managing Principal
Prior to the founding of Carpediem, Mr.
Nixon was with the Private Business Group in the Mergers & Acquisitions
Department at Kidder, Peabody & Co., Inc. ("Kidder") where he was
a founding member. The Group conducted mergers and acquisitions advisory
services for small to medium sized private and public companies. In addition,
Mr. Nixon managed a variety of transactions including acquisition advisory,
valuations, recapitalizations, and analysis of strategic alternatives.
Before joining Kidder, Mr. Nixon was in
the Corporate Finance Division at Donaldson, Lufkin, Jenrette Securities
Corporation ("DLJ"), where he performed financial analyses for
leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and the placement of debt and
equity transactions. At DLJ he was acknowledged as the firm's ESOP expert. His
other work experience includes manufacturing operations at Johnson &
Johnson and active duty military service.
Mr. Nixon received an MBA in Finance from
The Wharton School of Business. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in
Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
