We have found that leaders of emerging and middle market companies and capital market sources have considerable difficulty communicating with one another. The latter, to illustrate, tend to concentrate on minimizing downside risks. By contrast, the entrepreneurial leaders tend to focus on the considerable rewards.

Proper presentation of the right information can overcome the instinctive skepticism of capital providers.
